BROTHER HENRY SIGNS WITH DOUBLE DEAL RECORDS
We’ve been promising you some big news for months and here it is... Brother Henry has signed on with Double Deal Brand Records out of NYC to help us promote our music and further the Brother Henry campaign! We checked these guys out thoroughly before we spit-shook hands, and we can assure you that there is no hooded Dark Sith lurking in the closets of this record company. These fellas are the JEDI KNIGHTS of Rock and Roll! Double Deal, run by the supremely talented and cool Keith and Wayne Cross, is going to release the new "Live at the Basement" album, "Come on, People" and in June our newly recorded studio album "Chasing Happiness" that is sure to bring peace and order to the galaxy, at the very least your stereos and I-pods.

A VISIT FROM CHUCK LEAVELL
For those of you who know Chuck Leavell, your mouths are probably wide open. His resume is so long, he'd have to clear off a tree farm to print it out. Chuck has played with The Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers, The Black Crows, Blues Traveler, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Indigo Girls, John Hiatt... Chuck is a GA boy like all the members of Brother Henry. It turns out Chuck was working on his own cd here in Nashville, so we said, "Hey man." He came by and put his mojo on two songs, "Chasing Happiness" and "Spaceman". Chuck is not only one of the best musicians alive, he's a prince among men.

OUR FEARLESS MANAGER
We are very pleased to announce the latest member of the Brother Henry team, Jeff Oliver, aka Da Ollie J. Jeff has taken on managerial duties for the band. His charge is to take a bunch of dreamy musicians and turn this outfit into a cracking business. One feature you need in a manager is the ability to complete the task no matter the circumstance. This picture shows Jeff is fearless in the face of danger and well qualified for Rock and Roll.

PHOTO SHOOT WITH BEN FOLDS
From time to time, David and I get asked to play strings on other artist's cds. David has played on several of Ben's projects and we both got to play on his upcoming release, Songs for Silverman. During recording sessions, Ben is known to whip out an array of funky old cameras and start shooting. When it came time for a photo shoot for Brother Henry we said, "Hey Man..." We met on a cold morning behind one of Nashville's new coffee shops, The Frothy Monkey. Between coffee runs to maintain body temperature, Ben got some great shots which you will see in our upcoming studio release and press packages.
